I have been interested in education my entire life. After receiving my B.A. from Penn State University, I was an elementary teacher in my hometown, Oxford, Pennsylvania. I knew I wanted to teach at grade 5. All my education from that time on was directed to become a teacher. During my graduate work at the University of Oregon I majored in Reading. It has become my passion to help all students love reading and become comfortable reading.
