The reason I chose to go to school for my teaching certificate is that I've always been passionate about learning. I think the best teachers are excited to constantly learn new things. My teaching style is hands-on as often as possible. Students remember very little information taught to them in a lecture format. I try to use manipulatives such as blocks, especially when teaching a subject like math or science. I am very patient and flexible and I love to smile. I believe every child can succeed and I will never give up on a student, no matter how much they may struggle academically.

I love working with children, especially the younger ones, but I don’t' mind working with any age groups. I have ten years grammar school, high school (AP), and college level Spanish and lived two years in Colombia South America as a Christian missionary.
