This is not very professional sounding, however I have helped all of my friends pass classes with As or Bs from 7th grade all the way to the end of high school. I never charged them. I live my life with the hope of changing one persons life each day in a better way. I will do whatever it takes to help someone learn and it makes me happy helping others. I have the highest ASVAB score the on my base for the Air Force and whenever there is free time I help tutor my sergeants with college math classes. Every student can learn with motivation. Most of my classes were self-paced, and I had great success in motivating students of all types. My most recent position was teaching science to at-risk high school students who averaged 4th grade levels in reading and math. I do not believe in hierarchy. I think the teacher-student or tutor-student relationship should be one of equal footing and mutual discovery. This means asking questions together and seeking out the fundamental answers to questions. I think all children and adults deserve a place to learn about themselves and the world around them where they are free to ask any question and challenge any assumption. This does not mean I am a push over and cannot create structure in a lesson.
