Education is a viable tool for the kids in this generation. Technology also plays a role in the learning environment. In my experience, I find often times that it isn't enough for a child to read material and have a clear understanding. Visual concepts as well as real life examples makes all the difference between learning the subject and failing to understand the general concepts behind the subject itself.
Before moving to Tucson, I found myself helping other students, sometimes elementary and sometimes high school or junior high. It became clear to them that most of my peers didn't understanding the lectures or in class notes that were provided. In fact, most of the examples never matched the tests that were given.
