For three years I taught high school seniors in an Advanced Composition class where they were being "trained" in the specific paper styles that are found in college classes. Since graduating from Baptist Bible College in 2006, I have been teaching high school English in Indiana for six years now. I taught three years at Bethesda Christian School in Brownsburg, where I spanned English 9, 10, 11, Senior Speech, and Advanced Composition for seniors. In 2010 I began teaching at Faith Christian School in Lafayette; there I taught English 9, 10, and 11. I was also the Yearbook Advisor two years at Faith. July 1, 2013, I had my first baby, and I have decided to stay at home and raise her instead of returning to the classroom. I am a very hands-on learner, so I tend to try to make things as hands on or as real to life as possible.

I worked as a tutor in college, and I taught some groups of children Spanish and French while in college. After graduating from college, I taught for 4 years, grades 7-12. Also, I worked as a graduate assistant at Indiana State University and taught college freshmen.
