The three different ways that people learn are hearing, seeing, and doing but different combinations work better for different children. I believe that all children can meet their potential if they can be taught in an appropriate method. Children should be limited by their own preferences and not by a subject's "difficulty". I don't do much lecture, but rather, design the classses so the students can work independently or in groups while I advise them.
