Experience Summary
I started tutoring as a result of my knowledge base and the needs of the young people I worked with. My first tutoring experience was with a young man who was studying pre-calculus. Since then, I have tutored in upper level mathematics, history and social studies, English composition, and basic sciences. I had a position as a history and social studies teacher for five years in a private school, and have also taught adult education and GED prep.
Teaching Style
My approach to education is extremely individualized. My students have taught me that we all learn differently, and that success is always reachable with patience and persistence. I find that creativity and a variety of approaches to learning are the keys to making this success happen.
