Experience Summary
I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a BS in Biolgoy and a minor in Chemistry. While there I spent time tutoring science, mathematics, English and composition to highschool and college level students on an informal basis. I also spent a semester in Australia studying biology in 2001, and two weeks in Florida teaching highschool students Marine Biology in 2003.
Teaching Style
I am a well experienced teacher, with extensive roles in tutoring and other areas. I communicate well with people and especially enjoy working with growing young minds in encouraging and furthering their studies and, ultimately, their personal goals. I am a patient teacher, who believes in a variety of learning styles and abilities. Because of my extensive experience, I will help your child find their best learning strategies and teach them to harness their strengths and improve their weaknesses. I am easy-going, enthusiastic and driven, characteristics I will use to help your student succeed.
