Experience Summary
I have been engaged in tutoring since college; started a tutoring program for inner city kids in Atlanta, GA while in College. I have a B.S. degree in Biology and therefore have a lot of experience in the sciences and mathematics. I also worked with Step Ahead Tutors in Milwaukee, Wisconsin prior to recently moving to Denver, CO. During the last 10 years I have tutored middle school, high school, and medical students in an array of math and science subject.
Teaching Style
love teaching and working with all children but I am capable of teaching all ages. I am flexible, patient, and persistent and try to couple my persistence with humor and light-heartedness when teaching challenging subjects. I try to convey to all students who struggle that at some point, everyone has academic challenges; and that it's 'not where you start, but where you finish.'
