Prescribing to a system entitled the 4Mat SystemTM, I have embraced the outcomes of such a system which include improved retention, higher achievement, increased motivation, improved thinking skills, and lower remediation. The 4Mat SystemTM consists of four steps: the first step creates a reason; it motivates the student by making the lesson meaningful to his life.
