Experience Summary
I have worked a number of years in Early Childhood, Elementary level of Education, Middle School, and Special Education. I have also worked with children from the age of 6 weeks to 18 years old. I have worked as both a worked as a Para-educator and a teacher in a classroom with students with behavioral disorders.
I taught 6th grade math and science 2007-2008, 2008-2009 school years, I taught 5th grade.I have both a CO. Teaching License and a CA Teaching License. Both are multiple subject credentials. The CO license is for K-6 and is my Initial Teaching License. The CA License is K-12 and adult.I have a passed the Praxis, in CO. and the CLAD and CBEST tests in CA.
Teaching Style
I love, and am passionate about teaching children of all ages. I am a mother of three, and all of them have drastically different learning styles. I believe there are ways to teach that can encourage the child in their strenghts, and weaknesses and learn how to learn by emphasizing these strengths.
