I'm willing to teach Music Theory. For me, teaching isn't about pounding new material into their head, it's about helping them understand the material they're given and actually having fun learning. That's why my teaching style is all about fun and retention. I have many volunteer hours stacked up working with groups of children, but I would love to teach on a more personal basis to build my one-on-one skills. I'm currently an education major at Colorado State University, and while music is my emphasis, I was always very studious in school and am well-versed in other subjects. I have led several small groups of teenagers and young adults in Biblical studies at Prairie Hill Evangelical Free Church, several musical groups in practicing and performing, and a summer-long book club at Crown College.
