My comments on tutoring Musical : I'm willing to teach Music Theory.

I have many volunteer hours stacked up working with groups of children, but I would love to teach on a more personal basis to build my one-on-one skills. I'm currently an education major at Colorado State University, and while music is my emphasis, I was always very studious in school and am well-versed in other subjects. I have received numerous academic and artistic awards, some (such as being named a Texas Music Scholar) encompass both.
For me, teaching isn't about pounding new material into their head, it's about helping them understand the material they're given and actually having fun learning. That's why my teaching style is all about fun and retention.

Being so enthusiastic and young at heart, I cannot help but relate to children. I love to teach writing because each individual has his/her own style, and it is fascinating to see that blossom.
