I expected to graduate in December 2017 with a bachelor and master in Computer Science that is an integral program in NAU. My current GPA is 3.60.My real strength is my attention to detail. I pride myself on my reputation for following through and meeting deadlines. When I commit to doing something, I make sure it gets done, and on time. For example, when I did some projects in programming with my classmates, after we finished our draft. I also needed to fix it again and again. Even a little part of our code is not perfect. I recently earned my physics degree. I am taking a few classes at NAU during the spring semester. I have tutored for a semester during my senior year of high school, and have been a physics and mathematics tutor at NAU since January 2009. I have a very strong background tutoring Calculus.

The biggest thing for me when teaching younger kids is patience. I never expect them to know something just because I do; they pick up on frustration which only makes them frustrated themselves. I believe that kids have the capacity to learn anything they please, and I do my best to transfer this belief to them. I never place myself on a pedestal with them, rather I make an effort to ensure that we see eye to eye. I respect them, and they offer me the same in return. For older students, I make sure that they don’t feel barred in by my (or the professors) opinion; rather I encourage them to formulate their own theories, so long as they can back them up. The most common approach I take to tutoring a student is to first find out the student's learning style (be it visual, auditory, kinesthetic, or a combination), and then work with the student using this learning style. I also like to format the exercises in accordance with the test or quizzes the student is preparing for. I am a very easy going and patient tutor, but I will challenge my students to do their best.
