Need a fun, compassionate, patient, and understanding tutor?

I tend to use the socratic method a lot to help my students arrive at their own conclusions and understanding of material, paired with some basic, interactive instruction when students do not already understand some of the material involved. Success with confidence is my goal.

I have raised a mentally disabled child and assisted in her education. I have home-schooled three children for brief periods to assess their abilities when the schools graded them lower than their abilities. I discovered one is a genius (MENSA material) with a writing problem, another has a photographic mind, the third could speed read naturally. I spent time building their confidence that they had lost in the classroom. They were caught up to their current grade at the time and advanced 2 of them ahead a year in one year.
