I tend to use the socratic method a lot to help my students arrive at their own conclusions and understanding of material, paired with some basic, interactive instruction when students do not already understand some of the material involved. When I was in high school I had a lot of anxiety about math. I went back to college late in life and I was terrified that I would have to take a few math courses to graduate.
