When I was in high school I had a lot of anxiety about math. I went back to college late in life and I was terrified that I would have to take a few math courses to graduate. It wasn't long before math was my favorite class and I changed my major. When I was in school I helped a lot of my classmates with calculus. A Little Bit About Me...

While I was attending Weber State University, my part-time employment was to be a mathematics tutor for recent high school grads who did not pick up math from the elementry levels. I would tutor 8 hrs a day in between my classes for two years Student Support Services in Ogden UT where the college is located. I am at present a test evaluator for Kelly Services grading the Massachusetts math test for MCAS in Longmont CO.
I teach straight forward using the math laws which makes math logical and easy to understand. Algebra is the key to understanding all other levels of calculus and physics which is applied mathematics as well as chemistry.

Since my sophomore year of high school, I have been helping my peers in subjects related to science and math. I helped the biology teachers create quizzes, grade papers, and provide after-school academic assistance to students. During my first semester of college, I participated in the Triunfo/Triumph Tutoring Program through El Centro Student Services at Colorado State University.
