My comments on tutoring Grammar : I have taught the rules of grammar to undergraduate students. I work best with those students who are truly struggling to understand the rules and their many exceptions.

I believe teaching is the key to each child's future. When presented with the chance to succeed, I believe each child will. I believe in presenting each child with a verbal and visual explanation of each objective. I then believe that each child needs the chance to complete a task with encouragement and success before independent work. Assessment should only be taken AFTER a child has experienced numerous chances for understanding, practice, and mastery.
