Composition is one of my top subjects! I have taught undergraduate courses in academic writing and composition, with a focus on argumentative and business writing. A Little Bit About Me...

As a tutor, I was encouraging, supportive and sensitive to my students' feelings. For example, I normally met my students at the library. One student kept missing his initial session. I figured out that he was too intimidated by the library itself to meet me there. So, we had regular lessons in the park, where he felt comfortable and was therefore receptive to learning. Ultimately, I strived to make each session a positive experience, so that my students would leave feeling good about themselves.
