Teaching has been a passion of mine for some time. My general teaching philosophy and pedagogical approach is centered on active learning and creative thinking. I steer my students away from time consuming rote memorization and point them towards creative problem solving and promoting enlightened discussion. My enthusiasm for learning encourages and energizes students in the classroom. In closing, the thrust of my pedagogical orientation is to maximize course content in conjunction with outcome measurement, and to create a fun, exciting, and interactive learning environment.
