I consider myself a very creative teacher.I like to use techniques such as Total Physical Response(TPR), when teaching a second language. I have mastered two second languages myself,and raised two bi literate children successfully.I believe everyone can learn, and I need to find the student's learning style and work from there. I have been in the education field for over 20 years. In 1995 I built my own art studio working with adults and children. I worked with brain-injured, autistic, ADD, ADHD, dyslexic, gifted, as well as reg. ed. students. I returned to complete my teaching degree in 2001, graduating from Colorado Christian University in Lakewood, CO in 2005. I have earned an additional 60 credit hours in drawing, painting, watercolors and sculpture. I have been a substitute teacher for Jeffco, Adams 12, and catholic schools for the past 8 years. I also tutor for Tutor Train and independently. I have additional experience with after school and summer programs.
