I have taught and tutored both children and adults in a wide variety of situations, from job training and test preparation to tutoring for a specific subject. I have taught ESL classes and done individual tutoring, as well as both group and one-on-one instruction in grammar and composition. I have tutored for SAT, ACT, TOEFL, TOEIC, ISEE and entrance exams. I have created my own materials for such tutoring but also use books available commercially.

I have been studying in the scientific field for over 7 years at the college level and obtained pre-pharmacy status from a community college as well as an Associates of Applied Science Degree from the same community college majoring in Chemical Processing Technology. Also I have obtained a Bachelors of Science Degree in Chemistry from an accredited University. I have never taught a subject, physics, mathematics or philosophy, at a level that was beyond the abilities of any student who really wanted to master the material, and I don't think I'd be interested at teaching at that level. Many students are not able to master these subjects in school, but quite often it is not due to a lack of desire on their part, but instead a lack of sufficient preparation due most often to poor prior instruction. I have always been successful in helping students I tutor in overcoming their deficiencies in this area, regardless of the subject.
