I've always enjoyed the art of communicating complicated material to those who are just learing or don't quite "get it". My focus is to break things down into basic elements and achieve agreement. My teaching style is very student friendly. I engage the student in working out easy examples, which provide an illustration of fundamentals. Part of my process is to "walk through" an example with the student, showing them a process to solve a given problem. I then assign a problem for them to work out. I tutored with the Writing Fellows every Thursday at Schoolcraft College when I was working towards my Associate's in Liberal Arts. I helped students write and edit their papers. The primary focus was English but there were a few Social Studies/History students thrown in there. I graduated in April 2009 from Eastern Michigan University with my Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Media and Film with a Minor in Creative Writing.
