Experience Summary
Nicholas Sapounas born in Trenton, MI had first contact with music during
his time attending the Middle Shcool-Highschool of Music and Performing arts of Larisa, Greece concentrating
on guitar while attending the highschool Jazz big band, leading two independent rock groups(Sky Pup, Kos Markatos)
performing and collaborating with artists in the community graduated in '2011 with intensions of
pursuing a carrer in music in the United States. Attended North Central Michigan College during '2011-12
took Music history and personal instruction for Voice and Guitar, attended the Northern Michigan Chorale
Directed by Peter D. Sims and the Crooked Tree arts Jazz ensemble. Directly after a full academic year at NCMC
transferred to Wayne State University and joined the Music Technology department with a concentration in Voice
while seeking differentiation in his musical learning experience. During this time he started a personal
musical project under the name : "GrayBliss" and released a debut musical album through Bandcamp called: "Lucid" consisting
of 17 original tracks that were personally performed, recorded, mixed edited and produced by Nicholas Sapounas
during December of 2011-12 and April of 2013.
Currently attending Wayne State University Music Technology and Vocal performance Major.
Has recorded and produced more than 10 projects and leads experimental apt-rock group called GrayBliss
Has succesfully composed classical Preludes and Vocal scores and has specialty in jazz/rock guitar , classical/jazz vocals and recording techniques skills.
