Experience Summary
As a MSU graduate, I have experience in math up to linear algebra and abstract algebra. This includes calc 1,2, and 3 as well as differential equations. I also have taught at Michigan State University's Champ program, which is where I tutored algebra and geometry to advanced high school students.
As a musical instructor, I have taught in Marshall, East Lansing, and the Detroit Area in the areas of classical guitar, electric guitar, composition, and entry-level piano. Before getting a degree in engineering, I was a music major at Michigan State University.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is very student friendly. I engage the student in working out easy examples, which provide an illustration of fundamentals. Part of my process is to "walk through" an example with the student, showing them a process to solve a given problem. I then assign a problem for them to work out. This resembles a test-like environment where the student can figure out what he/she does not understand.
