Experience Summary
I have had extensive experience handling and managing children and adults in a learning environment. During my time at Lahser High School, I tutored students ages 7-15 in subjects such as elementary math, history, pre-algebra, algebra I, algebra II and geometry. As a student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, I began tutoring foreign exchange students from China in English language skills. I have had extensive experience studying Chinese language and have obtained a high degree of fluency in Mandarin Chinese. I have studied and worked in China and understand not only the language, culture and business world, but also understand the type of work, dedication and teaching it takes for a foreigner to obtain Chinese language skills. I have taken classes on law, economics and international politics in Mandarin Chinese and have worked in Chinese law firms and businesses where the office language was Chinese. I have been completely immersed and am confident that I can help your student grasp a better understand for Chinese language and every other topic of tutoring that I offer.
