Experience Summary
I have four years of music teaching experience in India and have been running an Indian music academy in Michigan since two years. I have been performing with several bands in Michigan and had once collaborated with India-Day event in 2012. I often represent lecture-demonstrations in schools with a percussionist Dan Piccolo. I have been performing Ghazal, Bhajan, and semi-classical forms like Thumri and dadra since childhood.
Teaching Style
My teaching schedule is classified in four groups :
Voice-Culture Training (10 Min)
Indian Notes (Swaras) syllables training (10-15 min),
Taal-training or Indian beat/rhythms training
Raga-Improvisation (raga introduction, aalap, singing composition and fast improvisation)
My Hobbies
Singing, dancing, writing, Yoga, and sports

Music is my passion and it works like a mind healer for me, and believe that everybody should be in touch with Indian music for revitalizing the mind, body and soul. I am a PhD in Indian Music and believe in sharing my knowledge and potential, whatever I have gained throughout the years.
