I have tutored on and off for the past 12 years. I have tutored people from 5th grade to age 50. I have much experience tutoring any type of math up to Algebra II. I have also tutored in Spanish on numerous occasions. I have lived in Mexico and Costa Rica which has really made my Spanish skills solid. I prefer one on one or a small group no larger than five. I am patient and appreciate questions the student has so that I may better serve them.

I was an in-school suspension teacher for two years at Durand High and Middle School, helping students get caught up on their pre-algebra, social studies, science, English and Spanish homework. Previously to becoming a teacher I worked in industry as a project manager or assistant for different companies, using Spanish occasionally. I have recently graduated from Sun Prairie High School with a 3.95 and will be attending the University of Madison next year. I have taken Advanced Placement English this year and have recieved superior grades in that class. Throughout college, I consistently worked as a tutor or mentor, specifically with minority populations. Upon graduation, I joined Teach for America and taught high school English in rural North Carolina. Once a child starts asking questions you know that they are excited about it and want to learn.
