One of my duties as an assistant teacher and as an after-school program director was tutoring children who were struggling with their classroom material. I have tutored students in the elementary grades in Reading, Writing, and Mathematics. I have tutored children in a classroom setting as well in their respective places of residence.
Teaching Style
I like to make learning fun for children! I think that all children have the ability to be successful learners and that it is the responsibility of their educators to understand what motivates them and to help them discover how they learn best. That is why it is imperative that educators are creative and be familiar with the multiple intelligences exhibited by different children. I also believe that good tutoring can lead to successful performance in the classroom which can, in turn, improve a student's self confidence and aid in their development of a joy for learning.
