I studied Art History at Florida State University, which required a number of essay and extensive seminar classes, which taught me different ways to complete 10-20 page papers. I have worked teaching children in many different environments, in a preschool, Boys and Girls club, and at their homes. I think that in today's public education system, with ever-growing class sizes some students get thrown to the wayside. These students need a more personalized learning plan that offers them head-to-head or small group discussions. I can relate to the child who remains silent because he doesn't think his question is smart enough.
