Experience Summary
I have been teaching in some capacity since High school. During my diverse experiences working, traveling and studying, the commom denominator has always been my love and passion for teaching and education. I have worked with children and adolescents from infancy through college, and with adults as an ESL instructor. I have a Bachelors degree in French and Environmental Studies, a teaching credential for Multi-subject Teaching, a Masters degree in Public Health, and a culinary certificate. I have tutored students in all subject areas, including French, reading and writing, social sciences, mathematics, and the arts.
Teaching Style
I enjoy working with people and helping them gain the confidence to complete their assignments. Each person is a unique individual with inherent talents and skills, as a tutor I help to facilitate the use of these strengths to build confidence, to help the student enjoy the learning process and to help them succeed in academics and life. I absolutely love to teach, I love to see the spark when a student finally understands a difficult concept and the smile that comes from success!
