I help the learner tie the information or concepts to their own knowledge base thus establishing ownership. I tutored for the Federal Way, WA campus of DeVry University from spring of 2007 to fall of 2008. I tutored students in English, multiple maths, programming, game design, logic, and test prep. I stopped tutoring to devote my time to the final project of my degree. As I have gone through my classes at Clover Park Technical College to become a para educator and I have work with the middle school kids at my job I have come to realize that I really enjoy working and helping the kids understand how to do new activity as well as help them out with their school work I really enjoy being around teenagers as well as younger age groups my goal is to become a para educator as well as a recreation coordinator in a middle school.
