Experience Summary
I tutored for the Federal Way, WA campus of DeVry University from spring of 2007 to fall of 2008. I tutored students in English, multiple maths, programming, game design, logic, and test prep. I stopped tutoring to devote my time to the final project of my degree. Now I'm an independent video game developer tutoring to make "ends meet" while I'm working on my first commercial game project.
Teaching Style
I present the information or concepts at hand in several different ways. I draw on the learners personal experiences to make the information or concepts relevant to them. I help the learner tie the information or concepts to their own knowledge base thus establishing ownership.
