Experience Summary
I would like to continue to develop my teaching skills while creating a challenging and fun learning environment for students. Currently, I am working towards a Graduate Degree in Geography and Education. I have extensive knowledge in areas of social studies as well as writing research papers.
While I have over two years tutoring children in K- 5th grade, I welcome the opportunity to work students of all ages and grade levels. I have worked with both elementary and middle school teachers to help them develop curricula that meet the needs of students. I enjoy tutoring students and helping them build confidence in their ability to achieve, both academically and socially.
Teaching Style
Teaching is a true passion of mine. Tutoring my niece and nephew whom are ages 10 and 11 has opened my eyes to understanding the needs of children in an academic setting. I am patient teacher with a humorous yet professional approach. Educators can profoundly influence and enhance a child’s life, and I welcome any chance to be a part of that.
