Experience Summary
I have been a professional instructor pilot for 20 years teaching pilots from over 30 different countries in English and Spanish. I have a BS in Zoology, an MA in Information Management, and am working on an MS in Aeronautical Science. I have ten years grammar school, high school (AP), and college level Spanish and lived two years in Colombia South America as a Christian missionary. I have taken college and graduate level courses in Spanish, zoology, chemistry, microbiology, writing, information management, and aeronautics to name a few and have tutored in all these subjects. I have taken graduate level military courses in safety, history,management, leadership, speeaking and writing.
Teaching Style
I have been professionally teaching for almost 30 years whether it be swimming to five year olds or flying to heads of aviation organizations. Few things give greater satisfaction than sharing what I have learned with others and watching them grow as they learn. A skilled, dedicated teacher, with a passion for the subject, can get anyone to learn, all the learner needs is a little desire. It is my job as a teacher/mentor to explore and grow that desire. I believe in a relaxed, but disciplined teaching environment of mutual respect between teacher and learner where both can learn from each other.
