Dealing with A.D.D my entire life, I've learned how to break apart the entire problem(or essay) into better and more clear parts. A good educator needs to demand accountability from it's students. My goal is to help my students truly understand the material and how it connects to both other fields of study and their own life. This comprehensive approach reduces test-taking anxiety and improves confidence, giving the student the tools he or she needs to move forward in their education. A Little Bit About Me...

My experience in tutoring began in high school when I volunteered for my local library, in a program aimed towards improving students’ reading ability. Having had considerable difficulty learning to read myself, I felt it was important that I attempt to pass this on to others. When I entered Knox College I was focusing on English, and ended up helping my fellow students with writing and editing their papers.
I have always sought to lead rather than force something upon the student by rote. Most important is to present the information in a way that is both interesting and memorable. It is my experience that people remember things better when they truly understand the process, and have reason to listen to the explanation.
