Hi! My name is Naomi and I'm a pre-med student at Loyola University Chicago. Although I don't have much teaching experience, most of the courses I am available to tutor I have just recently taken (and have done fairly well in)! As someone who has just taken such courses I know which topics are especially difficult and will need more attention. I also have a little sister who I'm always helping and teaching! I have been a special education teacher for 12 years. I recently received my Master of Arts in reading instruction degree. I have had a lot of success teaching students how to read. An example of this is: I started working, for 600 hrs (pull-out and push-in) a week, with a 2nd grade student at the end of January 2007. When I began working with him, he could only read 13 words.
