Experience Summary
I have been a special education teacher for 12 years. I recently received my Master of Arts in reading instruction degree. I have had a lot of success teaching students how to read. An example of this is: I started working, for 600 hrs (pull-out and push-in) a week, with a 2nd grade student at the end of January 2007. When I began working with him, he could only read 13 words. By the end of May, he knew 49 words
Teaching Style
My teaching style is to find out what works best for the student and to use it that way.
