Based on 14 years of teaching experience I have discovered many ways to increase the reading comprehension of students of all academic levels. I am a "hands-on" approach teacher. Often educators think students are grasping the concept when they are really just hearing, not listening. I taught from the year 2000-2013 in Gwinnett County Public Schools. 2013-2014 tried Georgia Pre-K; which I enjoyed but was unable to live on the salary.
