Typically, I'll read over papers, asking questions as I go and making comments as I go along. I do like to mark on papers so that changes can be more easily made. I generally try to think of new and creative ways to explain grammatical concepts and general writing concepts if I'm not being clear. Basically, my tutoring sessions involve a lot of conversation. I do also offer strictly online editing; in that case, I will use Word and create a document with comments. My comments on tutoring Composition : I have written essays and articles that have been accepted for publication.

Of course, I will teach the basics. But I want my students to find and express themselves through the written word.
My experience in writing extends 20 years. This includes publication. My book, More Than I Deserve, was published in February, 2013. I am currently working on screenplays for film and animation. Presently, I am adapting a novel by a local author to a light comedy screenplay. It is a coming of age story about the author's boyhood. The work is for a local publishing company.
