Experience Summary
Specialize in working with students who have been diagnosed with dyslexia, as well as other learning disabilities. Design, research, develop and implement all curriculum for home school students based on state standards. Developed lessons that assist students in improving skills in all academic subject areas. Modify curriculum and assignments based on recommendations from psychological report and testing results. Worked closely with parents on all academic and behavioral matters. Utilized specialized reading instruction for students with severe dyslexia in an effort to improve reading ability. Provided field trips to Tellus Science Museum, Booth Western Art Museum, Bremen Holocaust Museum, FDR’s Little White House and The Chattahoochee Nature Center.
