My comments on tutoring Physics : We have a team of high school tutors who have science degrees. Some of them in Dallas have a Physics degree and can tutor online. If you prefer in-home, call us and see if we have a current tutor for college or high school physics, then we will have them start to come in-home within a week or other reasonable time.

Each Certified teacher has the ability and skills to individualize the teaching style, based on the child's learning style. Due to this, we offer for the teacher or tutor to do an assessment on the first session at the same fee as the tutorials. Once they do this, they are required to teach or tutor in the style fit to your child's learning and other skills for their potential and to help them reach their academic goals.
We are a tutoring company with a team of tutors and Certified Teachers. Each teacher and tutor is required to be experienced and have an education related to the subject or field they tutor or teach. Since attending college, I have been infatuated with teaching. To learn the best strategies for teaching chemistry to students, I took a course entitled, “Instructional Techniques in Chemistry,” and served as the sole laboratory instructor for two sections of general chemistry during my undergraduate studies. I have taught non-science major undergraduates, continuing education high school teachers, undergraduate chemistry majors, and graduate students in biochemistry and cell biology. I also served as a discussion leader for two years in general chemistry, which required me to hold weekly sessions that allowed students to ask questions pertaining to chemistry.

A Little Bit About Me...

My wife and I home-schooled our three children from 1993 until 2004. In addition, I was active in Scouts from 1994 until 2007 as Assistant Scoutmaster, Scoutmaster and Merit Badge Counselor. These positions are supervisory in nature and involve both formal and informal teaching, mentoring and guiding. This experience also entailed several summer camps. My strengths are in the natural sciences, which formed the bulk of my work at UT, and English composition and grammar, as I gained extensive experience proofreading and writing essays for publication.
I typically employ the Socratic method: asking questions to discover what the student knows (or thinks he knows) and guiding his thinking toward discovering the knowledge himself.
