A Little Bit About Me...

I am in my 4th year of college at Texas State University where I have received a mathematics academic achievement award. I am going to Texas State majoring in mathematics and minoring in secondary education. I have completed many math courses as well as teaching courses since I have been at Texas State. I have not professionally tutored before but I have a younger sister who I help with her Pre Algebra homework. I also have two younger cousins that I have helped with homework as well.

My comments on tutoring Physics : We have a team of high school tutors who have science degrees. Some of them in Dallas have a Physics degree and can tutor online. If you prefer in-home, call us and see if we have a current tutor for college or high school physics, then we will have them start to come in-home within a week or other reasonable time.

A Little Bit About Me...

I typically employ the Socratic method: asking questions to discover what the student knows (or thinks he knows) and guiding his thinking toward discovering the knowledge himself. Both my three children and my Scouts have declared that they enjoy my teaching because it engages their interest and because it is frequently humorous (when the subject and the occasions permits). I really enjoy the company and conversation of young adults and find I often learn from them as they are learning from me. When helping a student with Algebra, it is critical to asses their basic skills in mathematical operations.
