I began tutoring groups of students as an exchange student in Austria, in 2012, working with 5th through 10th grade students in English at the BRG Koeflach (the local high school) where I was compensated as an official English tutor. In 2013, I assisted in German II, I would take half of the large class of over 30 high school students and teach the lesson for the day. I try to help students overcome their mental block about chemistry. Before a session begins, I like to determine a student's level of competency in the subject. Many times students are convinced that science is a subject too difficult to conquer, that they must just survive it, but science is all around us.
