Even before I graduated from NDNU with my teaching credential in English and social studies, I have tutored for several years in almost every subject. I have come to understand that each individual has his/her own unique way of learning. The way I teach is very simple. I explain my teaching style using the analogy of a mother bird teaching her baby how to fly. The mother guides her baby, teaching it, showing it the ropes of life, and when it comes time, the baby flies off on its own with no help. This is quite similar to how I teach and tutor children.
