My tutoring began in when I was employed with Nazareth Colleges' Partners for Learning program. This program worked with several schools in the Rochester, NY area to provide in school and after school tutoring and teaching assistance to children grades 6-12. I specialized at one school, Hope Hall in Gates, NY, where I worked with students who had a variety of learning challenges. I assisted students with subjects such as: English, Spanish, French, math, language arts, science and social studies. A Little Bit About Me...

I became interested in tutoring and teaching as an undergraduate. I began as a basic chemistry tutor, but quickly worked my way up to a lead tutor position. I then took on the responsibility of being a T.A. in both the chemistry lecture class as well as lab. After graduating college, my career led me on a path of training teachers, developing curriculum for schools and teachers, and finally into the position I am now, as a K-5 Technology Instructor. As such, I have an understanding of chemistry, biology, math, technology, and have extensive grammatical and writing skills and have tutored students in all of these areas.
