My tutoring began in when I was employed with Nazareth Colleges' Partners for Learning program. This program worked with several schools in the Rochester, NY area to provide in school and after school tutoring and teaching assistance to children grades 6-12. I specialized at one school, Hope Hall in Gates, NY, where I worked with students who had a variety of learning challenges. I assisted students with subjects such as: English, Spanish, French, math, language arts, science and social studies. I feel that my style of teaching is student centered. I am a facilitator to the learning process. Any student who chooses to learn can and will, however some students need more motivation than others.
