A Little Bit About Me...

One on one works best for me...however my teaching experience was in a classroom environment utilizing mostly Powerpoint Slides with questions and answers. I taught IT type skills "Operating Procedures" to beginning level IT support technicians. I do not hhave an official teaching certification.
I have over 23 years as a career professional of government IT services. This includes, contract negotiations, Network Engineering, CAD, Security, Multi-media, Graphic Arts and Photography. Every person is different and requires a unique style for learning. I have used many different styles in my experiences, and I tend to use the one that works the best for that individual. Some are visual learners while others need to learn by trial and error. I am easy going, flexible, and patient. I retired last year after 33 years of United States Air Force military and civilian service. I have earned a BA in Sociology and an AS in Engineering Design Drafting. Throughout my career, I often found myself providing both individual tutoring and group instruction. One of my most enjoyable positions was as a full-time satellite scheduler instructor where I would train newly hired employees both individually and as a group.
