As an adult I have been pursuing my dream of being an educator. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and am working on my Master's Degree in Deaf/Hard of Hearing Education. Throughout my seven years of teaching I have had leadership training, math, writing, and reading training. I have tutored children in Reading, Writing, and Math. I have done addition tutoring in math prior to the Colorado Student Assessment Program (CSAP).
My teaching philosophy is teach every child every day. This means all children can learn. It may be through all different styles of teaching and learning, but all children can learn. I believe in using a "hands on" approach with manipulatives. Children will learn by doing and experimenting with the objects they have.
