Pre-Algebra is one of my top subjects! I helped two 6th grade classes learn pre-algebra. Many times I would have to come up with a different way of explaining what the teacher said, so the students could understand what they needed to do.

-Over 2.5 years in Before and After school Program where we helped students with school work and put on plays during the summer. -About a year as a Teachers aid working almost exclusively with Students in Math. -I have worked with children ranging from 3 years old to twelve years old. -I spent 9 years working with students in many different areas.
Some children just need a new way of looking at something to understand it. Children might also need just little more time to understand something that schools just don't have the time to give. I am patient, caring and I can think outside the box if a student needs a new way to look at a problem.

Even though I am young, I do know how to convey teaching skills with the "up-to-date" mind set of today's generation.
